The first painting I did that month was the first time I felt I'd done a respectable painting.
I did more research for this painting, I drew the face from a photo of an old man out of a book about Tibet then redrew him as my character Glyder.

However I was still not using the true qualities of watercolours, but in my 3rd painting that month I finally started to appreciate the translucent qualities and use them better.
I really liked the way the colours turned out in this painting.
